[BUG] (solved) Navbar is not visible on Wordpress 4.3

Post by pakuula » September 13th, 2015, 2:42 am

FYI

head.php generate navbar using the following code:
wp_nav_menu(array(
"container" => "navigation",
"container_class" => "container",
"container_id" => "nav",
"menu_class" => "navigation",
"fallback_cb" => 'weblizar_fallback_page_menu',
"theme_location" => "primary",
"walker" => new Weblizar_Menu_Walker(),
));
It wraps ul.navigation into div.container. The problem is that bootstrap.css specifies the width of .container to be 1170px. It is too wide and doesn't fit into the page. As a result, the menu items don't show up.
I fixed that by adding the following lines to style.css of the child theme:

Code: Select all

nav .container {
    width: auto;
}
BTW, navigation of the main weblizar site doesn't use div.container wrapper.
