Problem with custom background

Post by todaysevents » March 3rd, 2015, 7:10 am

Weblizar premium at http://technotc.com/ having problems setting custom background in APPEARANCE, WEBLIZAR OPTIONS, SKIN LAYOUT. Setting background pictures through Wordpress SETTINGS, BACKGROUND as instructed to do through the hyperlink on "Weblizar Images background" and "WordPress Custom Background" saves to SETTINGS, BACKGROUND but does not show up as background on website. Had to force background through custom css code: body {background-image: url("picture url here");}. Could this also be causing problems for my other thread: Problems With Page Scrolling Down? http://weblizar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=923

Hi,

To solve this issue create a "Child-Theme" first.

after creating a "Child-Theme" create "header.php" file into your "Child-Theme" directory.

Now copy the code from given URL http://pastebin.com/CH84KG1F

and paste into "header.php" file of your "Child-Theme" directory.

Now save the changes.

Thanks

I do not have access to the server to upload files at this time.

Why should I need to create a child theme to fix YOUR problem? I paid for this theme. Fix it please.

Is the latest Weblizar Premium Theme at least uploaded to my account? As far as I can see the file has not changed since I bought it last year.

Hi,

Sorry for inconvineince.

"Child themes" are the recommended way of modifying an existing theme.

If you modify a theme directly and it is updated, then your modifications may be lost. By using a child theme you will ensure that your modifications are preserved.

if you want to perform the changes in your core theme then follow the given below instructions:

Now open your core theme directory.

Open "header.php" file in any text editor.

Now copy the code from given URL http://pastebin.com/CH84KG1F

and paste into "header.php" file of your core theme directory.

Now save the changes.

Thanks
