@timnicholas : You want to set your color scheme to Purple

Go to Theme-Options >> Skin Tab >> Select your Color-Skin there.

Save these Changes.

See Screen Shot

Hello Admin,
The link you sent me isn't accesable for me, at least not with my password. So I still don't know how I can adjust the portfolio item and get rid of the magnifying glass.

Greetings

Gert

Just put the following code in the custom css area under theme options --> general settings ---> custom css editor

.enigma_home_portfolio_showcase .enigma_home_portfolio_showcase_icons a {
display: none;

Hello Admin.

I have done that too, I don't know why it doesn't work with me. I have tried some css code before but in some strange way it doesn't work with me. I have to change things with the editor.

Greetings

Gert

If yes , Send it to lizarweb[at]gmail[dot]com. Add subject Line " Portfolio pointers "

I would be interested in, once the icons are gone making the whole thumbnail clickable sending the user to the portfolio single page. Any ideas on accomplishing that?

@mgunselman : Yes that can be done easily, First I'd suggest you to create a Child-Theme so that you could save your Customization.

Read More -> http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

I'll post you the complete steps here as you complete with you child-theme.

Thanks

I'm already using a child theme.
