Blurred images

Post by redfin » January 30th, 2018, 3:46 am

Hello,
I am facing a problem with blurred images in the portfolio section (it may appear in other sections as well, but this is the section where it is most eye-catching).
All images added to the media section have at least a width of 1200 pixel.
They appear however in much smaller sizes, which leads to them being shown blurred.
I have put the site on service unavailable mode, as I want to try to solve this first.
You can see it at: http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig.de/
If you look at the portfolio section you can see that pictures are blurred. Click on the picture it is shown sharp as in original.
In the source I can see that pictures are probably saved in different sizes and these sizes are added to the original filename.
For example:
<img width="260" height="160" src="http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/galerie9-260x160.jpg" class="enigma_img_responsive wp-post-image" alt="" srcset="http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/galerie9-260x160.jpg 260w, http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig ... 55x340.jpg 555w, http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig ... 60x220.jpg 360w, http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig ... 94x242.jpg 394w, http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig ... 52x155.jpg 252w, http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig ... 50x460.jpg 750w, http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig ... 40x210.jpg 340w, http://wordpress.p417775.webspaceconfig ... 70x350.jpg 570w" sizes="(max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px" />
Now I must admit that I am not an expert, but I got along with Wordpress and Enigma pretty good so far, but I am reaching my limits here, so I hope someone can help me solving this.
Thanks in advance.

Had to put it online again for this, sorry, should have thought about that in the first place.
Hope things get clearer now.

Please use the below CSS code in custom CSS editor box (Dashboard -> Appearance -> Theme option -> Theme general option) and save the changes -

.enigma_home_portfolio_showcase:hover img {
-webkit-transform: scale(1) rotate(0);
}

Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. Done it, but I don't see a difference.
