Hi Support,

Per your YouTube instructions, I have downloaded the ZIP file for Guardian v1.8.1 and used File Zilla to move into themes folder on my host.
Questions are:
Do I unzip in that same folder?
I'm running a Child Theme with the customization's and should I remove the previous Parent Guardian Pro 1.4.4?
How will I know if my child theme is working the the v1.8.1 or if it is still working with the previous parent version 1.4.4?

I guess I need to know how to finish updating the theme on I have moved the ZIP file v1.8.1 into the themes folder with File Zilla?

Thank You in advance.

Hello,
Firstly take a backup of your old version theme.
Then delete your old version and unzip the new version in the same folder.
And if your child theme shows broken error then take help of given video tutorial -

This will helps you.
But I repeat "Firstly take a backup of your old version theme".
Thanks.

Hi Support,

When I unzip and install v1.8.1 and then delete previous Guardian Pro, my errors state the Child Theme "has no Parent Theme installed"
Please advise as I have reinstalled the Guardian Pro backup at the moment.
