I do not know what css part to change

Hello,

I am fiddling for some weeks now, and cannot find what part to change the backgroundcolor.
I am building a site for a customer over here http://www.zen-design.nl/
And bought this template for hime (Guardian).

In oder to have his logo placed where I want it, I have added this part in the CSS. But there is still some white part and I cannot determine which CSS code I should change.
Could you help in this?
Changed to make the logo possible:

.top_nav
{
background-color: #3a3b3d;
}
.navbar-brand {
float: left;
height: 110px;
padding: 15px 15px;
font-size: 18px;
line-height: 20px;
background-color: #3a3b3d;
}
.navbar-inverse {
background-color: #3a3b3d;
border-color: #080808;
}
.navbar-collapse
{
background-color: #3a3b3d;
}
.navbar-right
{
background-color: #3a3b3d;
}

Thanks ahead,

RobB
