Upcoming Features in WordPress 4.9<\/strong><\/p>\n

WordPress 4.9 introduces several exciting features aimed at enhancing user experience and improving customization flexibility. One of the most notable updates is the improved Customizer experience, which now includes a “Save Draft” and “Schedule” option for theme changes. This allows users to preview and schedule design updates without immediately affecting the live site.<\/p>\n

Additionally, WordPress 4.9 brings a more intuitive widget management system. The new “Gallery Widget” lets users easily add image galleries to widget areas, while improved media handling ensures seamless integration of content.<\/p>\n

For developers, code editing becomes significantly easier with the introduction of a built-in syntax highlighter. This tool highlights errors in real-time, reducing the chances of breaking the site while editing custom CSS or PHP files.<\/p>\n

WordPress 4.9 also prioritizes security and workflow, offering better user role management and warning notifications to prevent accidental overwrites of changes made by others.<\/p>\n

WordPress 4.9 will be the second \u201cmajor\u201d release of 2017 with the theme of editing code, managing plugins and themes, a user-centric way to customize a site, and polishing some recently added features over this last year. Mel Choyce<\/a> and Weston Ruter<\/a> are the co-Release Leads for 4.9.<\/p>\n

The expected release date is November 14th, 2017.we have the beta version of it to check out its feature.<\/p>\n

It is still under development, so some features may not make it to the final release. We will discuss some of its features.<\/p>\n

The WordPress 4.8 introduced media and image widgets and 4.9 is now ready with new Gallery widget.<\/p>\n

when you choose to Create New Menu in Customizer it shows box for name and menu locations at the same place. But this screen will show up when you create a new menu.<\/p>\n
