Post Thumbnail Editor Plugin

Post by setanner » November 18th, 2015, 2:22 am

I have been using the Post Thumbnail Editor (http://sewpafly.github.io/post-thumbnail-editor/editor/) plugin to resize and crop images for my website. I've used it with several themes and it has worked well for me, including with your basic (free) Enigma theme as well as themes from other developers. I have now upgraded to the Enigma Premium (Pro) theme and can no longer use this plugin as the theme does not generate a list of existing thumbs for the images. See these example screen shots from the two different Enigma themes:

Enigma-Pro

Doing some sleuthing, it appears that the problem comes up around this bit of the php code for the plugin:

foreach ( $sizes as $size ){
// Hidden
if ( isset($input['pte_hidden_sizes']) && is_array( $input['pte_hidden_sizes'] )
&& in_array( $size, $input['pte_hidden_sizes'] ) ){
$pte_hidden_sizes[] = $size;

Also, note this error on the Post Thumbnail Editor settings on the Enigma-Pro theme "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/.../public_html/.....com/wp-content/plugins/post-thumbnail-editor/php/functions.php on line 128"

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this in the Enigma-Pro theme?

Thanks,
S

Hi,

We have restricted the media uploader to use predefined image size. That's why plugin not shows image sizes.

Let us know for further assistance.

Thanks.

Thank you for your reply.

If that is the case, this theme will not work for me. How do I obtain a refund?

Hi

Thanks for using our theme.

Image resize issue is fixed. but you need to edit some line of code.

Go to theme directory => core => customs => open the image_crop.php and find the below given line of code.

add_filter( 'intermediate_image_sizes', 'weblizar_image_presets');

Replace by

//add_filter( 'intermediate_image_sizes', 'weblizar_image_presets');

Save the changes.

Thanks
