Update to 3.4 problems

Post by live4christ » November 19th, 2019, 3:51 am

Hello. I just updated the theme to 3.4 and now there are numerous problems on our site.

1) The menu now has a green background when it drops down. Our site is blue not green.

2) Our slider is no longer working. It doesn't show the next slides and if you try to click the arrow nothing happens.

3) Our bottom footer color has changed from blue to dark gray.

4) There's a random blue square above our menu. And, when I click the drop down menu on mobile, the menu doesn't stay visible. After a second it retracts and vanishes so I can't click anything in the menu.

The site is https://cagleservice.com

Can you help with this please? Thanks. I have activated an older version of the theme for now so that the user experience is good, but you can activate the new one when you login. I sent you the temp login to your email.

Weblizar are you going to help me out with this? I'd like to update to 3.4 but it's causing these issues I listed above.

Thanks

Hello User.

Get the version 3.4.1 - which will fix your addressed issues.

Thanks

Unfortunately, not everything has been resolved. See the screen dump.
Would you also look at this please?

Thanks for your help. Everything is fixed except for the bottom footer color. It is still gray on desktop. It is blue like we want on mobile.

I have attached a screenshot.

Also, is there a way to make the height of the slider pictures on mobile smaller?

Thanks for your help as always!

Hello.

This is a BG image you can change it from Appearance -> Theme - Options -> Skin Layout > Select BG patterns.

Find your desired one and change it and save.

Thanks

For slider -

Below is the CSS.

@media(max-width:767px) {
.carousel-inner img {
height: 200px;
}
.carousel-text h2 {
margin-top: 31px;
}
}

Thanks for the help support. I tried it but it didn't change anything. Maybe it's because of CSS that is already on the site? Here is the current CSS for the slider: @media(max-width:480px){ .aligncenter { width: 100%; } } @media (min-width: 768px){ .header_section img.hd-img { display: none !important; } } @media (max-width: 480px){ .header_section img.hd-img { display: none !important; } .carousel-text h2 { font-size: 8px !important; } .aligncenter } @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) and (min-width: 480px){ .carousel-text h1 { font-size: 18px !important; } } @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) and (min-width: 480px){ .carousel-text h2 { font-size: 18px !important; }

I added the CSS you gave me for the slider but it didn't change anything. Is it because of the CSS that is already in use on the site? Please advise. Thanks.

Yes I did. I added it to the CSS that I already have on the site which is what I posted above. When I added the CSS you gave me it didn't change anything.
