Customizing the Theme

Post by sarahman » May 9th, 2017, 3:35 pm

My client wants me to make the following three changes to the theme:
1) Remove the grey lines around the boxes that demarcate different items on all pages.
2) Remove the + symbol from the menu and buttons
3) Change the fonts on the pages and in the menu bar
Can you direct me where to make these changes?
Thanks :D

hiii sarahman,

1) to remove plus sign from menu , please edit the weblizar_nav_walker.php file, you will find this file here " core/menu/welizar_nav_walker.php". On line no 37

Code: Select all

$item_output .= ($args->has_children) ? ' <i class="fa fa-plus"></i></a>' : '</a>';
edit this line , remove <i class="fa fa-plus"></i> or add other font awesome icon as you need.

2) to remove plus sign from button, edit the home-callout.php file, on line no 12, you will find

Code: Select all

<span class="fa fa-plus"></span>
, remove this or use another font awesome code as need.

3) to remove grey lines, edit style.css file, here on line no 3719 edit the

Code: Select all

	.border{
		border:1px solid #ccc;
		}

4) to change the fonts of page and navigation, edit the style.css file and apply font-family and font-size as need
