What is the dream of every rising entrepreneur? To be a billionaire! Duh! And to be on the #1 rank of every relevant Google search result. However, we do not see as many new brands on the 1st page of Google SERP as we should, and the big fish like Amazon, Etsy, and Ali Express dominate the first page of every e-commerce related query. This is not just unsettling; it is quite demoralizing for the budding businesses. And to break the chains we should learn about some secrets of business seo.
Why are you not on the 1st page of every Google search result?
This is a rather difficult question. If there are a hundred companies who are competing in the same niche, they have at least a hundred reasons for not emerging on the top.
The company can claim to have ties with Google and Matt Cutts himself, but no company can guarantee you the #1 rank in a month. It is simply fantastic.
SEO is an ongoing procedure rather than a quick fix. Money may be a factor in building a working SEO plan, but it is not the ONLY factor. Your website needs tailor-made solutions that other companies may not need. Your SEO Agency should be able to understand your business needs.
No company that is dishing out universal packages for $99 a month can help you hold the #1 position.
Latent Semantic Indexing is the secret weapon of keyword optimization. Your company website may be using the long tailed keywords suggested by WordStream, Google Keyword planner, and your SEO team. You are missing out on actionable keywords that Google wants to see in your content.
LSI is quite simple. Suppose you are trying to rank for “automobile services in NY.” Type in these exact keywords and crawl to the bottom of the SERP. You will find a bunch of related keywords, synonyms and alternate keywords that Google is suggesting. These are your LSI keywords. Use them to get an extra boost in ranking.
Your website needs images, and you know that already. In a world ruled by GIFs and Memes, running a black and white website is like living in a cave in the 21st century.
Now, the catch in the situation is – Google cannot “see” your images or videos. You need to describe them for the bots so they can understand what all the hullabaloo is about. Include a file name, alt description using your target keyword and add a caption.
Do not use humongous images. This will slow your site, and by now, everyone knows, slow site equals bad SEO. Consider JPEGmini and PunyPNG to compress your images. This won’t cause you to lose much quality, and it will accelerate your page loading time.
Every online company should run an SEO and link audit at least once a year. This will help you find out about the status of your existing links. In reality, the quality and the quantity of links pointing directly at your website determine your organic ranking.
Some sites have some broken links, unresolved 404s, and bad quality links. Sudden changes in link status can cause your site to drop to the bottom of any SRL. If you are already suffering from poor traffic and terrible organic performance, look for spammy links infiltrating your site. Next, look for outbound links that may lead to “dubious” websites.
This is somewhat like “guilty by association.” Your site may be credible, but linking your content to spammy sites, you are risking your reputation. Google will automatically direct visitors away from your site, towards more credible looking competitors.
PPC is as different from SEO as New Zealand is from Australia. Most entrepreneurs tend to get confused by the two terms. PPC is Pay per Click marketing. When you look for products and services on Google, a few links pop on in the first three places. They have this tiny yellow badge on the left, which reads “Ad.” These are your PPC marketing products.
Now, you cannot really “see” SEO. You can feel its benefits once your traffic starts increasing, sales start climbing, and your returns are higher. Our stats say, over 75% of the Google users ignore the sponsored ad results that come with the “Ad” badge. The #1 rank garners over 33% of the total search traffic. That speaks oodles about the future of business, which has learned the secret to the #1 rank in Google SERP.
SEO is not easy, but it is not complicated either. There are a few points you must remember while choosing your SEO partner for the long run. The experience of your partnering company will determine the future of your online business.
SEO has always been a mystery for many of us but to hit at the righ spot at the right time and doing your ground research well is the key to break the barriers of SEO and be on the top.

Metals used for crafting wedding bands
Wedding bands are specially made for men or the groom. The size of a wedding band is bigger than that of a wedding ring. Usually, precious metals like platinum or gold are used for making wedding bands but more options are also available in the form of silver, titanium etc. Two different metals can be combined to form a single band. It is true that there is no dearth of options when it comes to purchasing wedding bands from online jewelry stores or from local jewelry shops but a made to order ring is far more valuable.
A bespoke wedding band can be made from any metal and can have an engraving on the surface. A symbolic design can be etched on the band along with a diamond. The message conveyed by that unique symbol is extremely pertinent for the wearer especially when it in the form of a wedding band. The wedding band is that piece of jewelry which will forever remain on one’s finger so it should fit comfortably and one should ensure that the wedding band or the design of the band doesn’t irritate the skin.
Being careful while using precious stones
When one wants to use diamonds or gemstones in a wedding band then it is important to ensure that the quality of diamonds or gemstones is good. The carat of the diamond or gemstone should be certified. A superior quality diamond will have good clarity which will allow it to reflect light and appear bright and dazzling and for a wedding band, a dazzling diamond is more than necessary.

Why is Oracle the first choice of all DBA consultant services handling private clouds?
What are the joint kings of relational database management system (RDBMS)? Although we have heard of Microsoft Access, MySQL and Sybase from time to time, it is always either Oracle or MS SQL Server at the top of every professional DBA’s RDBMS list. There are quite a few similarities between the two of them, but the differences will decide who emerges as the king of all RDBMS.
When starting out on a quest for a cloud storage for your service, it is really easy to get the funding. Choosing the right RDBMS service for your company is the difficult part. There are quite a few reasons why most companies choose Oracle for their private cloud instead of MS SQL Server, and here are the main differences between the two that will help you make that decision today –
How you say it, always matters –
We have always heard people say, “it’s not what you say, but how you say it”. And today we can say that is absolutely true when it comes to RDBMS. Both Oracle and MS SQL Server use Structured Query Language, but MY SQL Server uses Transact SQL or T-SQL. This is an extension of SQL that was developed by Sybase. This was originally used by Microsoft as well. Oracle uses PL/SQL or Procedural Language/SQL. These are both different “dialects” of SQL that can be found on the market.
If you have worked with these languages, you must have already noticed how differently they handle variables, stored products, and built-in functions. Many DBA consultant services take their pick of RDBMS based on the languages used. A senior DBA should know the basic working principles of the two “dialects” used by the competing RDBMS.
PL/SQL is capable of grouping procedures together in different packages that cannot be done in any MS SQL Server. T-SQL is much simpler and is ideal for RDBMS beginners. If you are entrusted with a bigger and more complicated database that runs a lot of complex queries each day you should go with Oracle. PL/SQL is more powerful and is ideal for big data since each error can be encountered in real-time and dealt with. You do not have to undo an entire chunk of queries just to eliminate one error from your company database.
Controlling transactions –
Let us say, transactions are a group of operations that can be treated as a single unit. In that case, the biggest difference between MS SQL Server and Oracle is the way they control their transactions.
Take for example; there is a group of queries for modifying records that have to be updated at once. A failure to update a single record in this set will fail to update any file at all. In such a scenario, MS SQL Server will execute and commit each task individually. Therefore, if there is a change, it will be impossible to undo the task and check the errors along the way. A BEGIN TRANSACTION command is usually used at the beginning of the query. Then a COMMIT command is used at the end. This will write all changed data to the disk. If you can include a ROLLBACK command, it will enable you to go back and check for errors. This is ideal for all error handling inside an MS SQL Server database. However, after you have issued a COMMIT command it is impossible to roll back beyond that.
Within an oracle database, each DB connection is a new transaction. In such a case, no changes are committed unless an explicit COMMIT command is issued by the DBA. All changes are registered in memory only. A few exceptions reside with the DDL commands, which are usually “implicit” and are always committed simultaneously. After the execution of COMMIT, there is usually, a new command that begins a new transaction and the process begins all over again. It is much easier to monitor, detect and correct errors in an Oracle database. The exclusive nature of each command set makes it possible for the transactions to be more flexible. Complete controls lie with the DBA in the case of Oracle error control.
Database component organization –
This is the main point of difference between the two systems. Each RDBMS has its own logic for the organization of database objects but MS SQL Server organizes tables, procedures, and views by database names. Anyone can become a user by getting a login authentication detail from the DBA. In the case of MS SQL Servers, every database has a private unshared disk file on their server.
In the case of Oracle, all database objects are classified according to schemas. Very simplistically speaking, these are subsets of the collection of database objects. All database objects are usually common between all schemas and users of that database. The access of a user depends on the roles and permissions issued by the DBA. Database content is highly compartmentalized and every level requires an authentication. Therefore, the authentication details of a user determine the limit of his access the Oracle database.
As we can understand, both Oracle and MS SQL Server are wonderful and powerful RDBMS options. There are quite a few differences as to how they perform the queries and how they monitor security. However, one this is for certain – they are roughly equivalent in their capabilities today.Oracle beats MS SQL Server by a narrow margin by virtue of its simplicity and increased functionality. Oracle also has better error control. Thereby making Oracle best suited for all big data corps and IT companies who need an updated database for daily functioning.
Desktop as a service (DaaS) is one of the many forms of managed IT services which offer a cloud-hosted virtual desktop environment such that users can access their virtual desktops on any device wherever they are provided they have an internet connection. The service provider deploys the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and is responsible for maintaining upgrades, security, storage and data backup and related services. Using desktop-as-a-service solutions for business came as a heroic turn.
There are many benefits that businesses today can gain from employing these services in their businesses. Smaller businesses for whom the cost of deploying their own VDI would be prohibitive stand to gain the most from the advantages it presents, some of which are listed below:
This service has a characteristic accessibility regardless of time, place and device, which means that they have a new level of freedom and flexibility not enjoyed before.
DaaS is based on a subscription service which effectively ends the cycle of having to invest heavily in desktop hardware, purchase and licensing of servers, etc., so that you’re not bleeding valuable funds into depreciation of assets. In addition, you’re exposed to the latest initiatives for better service delivery without the heavy investments
DaaS gets rid of the burden of maintenance on a business and permits internal business resources to be redeployed towards core profit-generating functions. This service also directly lowers costs associated with powering, cooling and hosting the hardware/infrastructure. According to analysis, using such IT support services can save a business up to 50 percent of operational costs within less than five years of adoption.
DaaS is dynamic by nature and makes provisioning and scalability much easier, which is ideal for businesses on a rapid expansion curve or those that want the ability to quickly seize opportunities. This may be in form of adding new applications/solutions to the hosted desktop environment or increasing the capacity of online hosted desktops.
With DaaS, the burden of the security moves from individual devices or locations to cloud-based data centers, whose infrastructure is created to ensure the highest levels of security. Your data doesn’t remain vulnerable in a localized device but rather, it is kept and regularly backed up to a secure host server in an encrypted format and can only be accessed once multiple authentication protocols have been met/fulfilled.
Some businesses have varying resource needs such that they need to scale up to meet demands of peak business periods but want to scale down once the load eases up in off-peak seasons. DaaS solutions are more readily scalable according to organizational needs so that you’re only paying for resources used at that time. This delivers even greater cost-effectiveness.
DaaS service providers typically offer uptimes of 99.99% and above, and they are able to deliver because of heavy investment in security, support and high-class infrastructure so that you’re assured of consistent access and good performance. In addition, centralized data backup merged with ubiquitous desktop availability gives a better alternative to conventional disaster recovery options, i.e. secondary local data sites/centers. This also reduces incidents of interruptions by travel or other factors since employees can work normally regardless of location.
There are many more benefits of using DaaS solutions, from creating better budget predictability to increasing productivity. Managed IT services are the future of business solutions, so be sure to jump on and improve your bottom-line by leaps and bounds.

Today, online presence is a must in the digital world, which is probably why the online community became as competitive as it is. And with this being the case, the key to a successful marketing strategy is inevitably the content people read. That gave the urge to invent some easy steps to improve content instantly.
However, even the most useful, insightful and creative content can easily be overlooked. Customers need to find it appealing and most importantly, find it in an online search. Therefore, what you need to beat the competition is the perfect content writing strategy.
To help you out, we have created a 5-step guide:
Think about your current customers – who are they and what do they want? If you want to convert more customers with your content, you need to use what you know.
Make sure that you identify and understand your audience. Once you know who you are speaking to and what they need from you, you can use the appropriate language and best topics that will hold their interest. Only by targeting your audience, you can convince people to take the next step and purchase your product or service.
For a customer to be able to find your content, it needs to rank higher in the search results. Therefore, you must pay special attention as to which keywords you will use as signs for the search engines.
Use the keywords in your titles, headlines, as well as the meta description and the remaining in the text. Of course, you should make sure that they take part of the text as naturally as possible.
According to Moz, your content won’t matter if the headline is not great. Therefore, make sure to use the keyword in the headline, but spend a great deal of time and dedication to crafting the perfect headline. After all, this is what your customer first sees when he looks at your content.
If you are not informed on SEO strategies and have no experience in using the proper keywords at the right places, chances are you will not be able to implement these steps into your marketing strategy. Therefore, even if your writing skills are amazing and you do your best, sometimes your best shot at increasing sales and brand awareness is asking for help.
Fortunately, there are many writing services out there, such as Aussiewritings that specialize in writing website content and increasing traffic. It is very simple – if your strategies do not work, a small investment is your best shot at becoming a successful website owner.
Regardless of the writing style you used, poorly edited content can never convert sales. Many people notice the grammatical flaws almost instantly, and there is only one thing this will indicate – lack of professionalism.
If you appear as irresponsible and careless to your audience, they will not keep reading your content. No one wants to be working or purchasing from a business that cannot dedicate a small amount of time to ensure the content accuracy. Therefore, you should always proofread your content before posting it, and if you have any trouble doing it yourself, there are many proofreading agencies out there where they have professionals doing the trick for you.
The minimum you should update your site’s content is once a year, but nowadays, even this is considered a bad strategy. If you want to keep visitors and customers interested, updating your content on regular basis is the best way to go.
Sometimes, even re-posting can do the job. However, make sure to publish fresh content to keep the audience interested whenever you can. And don’t forget – even if you increase your website visibility and attract more visitors, you can lose them much faster than you think.
If you want to ensure website optimization, these are the key steps to follow. Good luck!

The wp-content directory stores just about every file for customizing WordPress. This directory store your plugins, themes, and additional files to extend WordPress in any way imaginable. The WP-content directory has a single PHP file, index.php . The contents of this file are shown here:
<?php /Silence is golden.
So what’s the point of this file? Actually this is a very important file. The index.php file blocks anyone from viewing a directory listing of your wp-contents folder. If the index.php file didn’t exist, and your web server allowed directory listings, visiting http://example.com/wp-contents would display all of the files and folders in that directory. This can help hackers gain access to key files that might help exploit your website.
If you are manually updating WordPress, make sure you avoid overwriting your WP-content directory.
Plugins are stored in the wp-content/plugins directory. A plugin can be a single file or multiple files inside of a folder. Any files within the /plugins directory are scanned by WordPress to work out if the file could be a properly formatted WordPress plugin. If the file is set to be a plugin, it seems below the Plugins ➪ put in Plugins SubPanel on your admin dashboard able to be activated.
|NOTE Remember that to automatically deactivate a plugin, you can remove it from your /plugins folder. If an active plugin’s files are missing, WordPress deactivates the plugin before trying to render your website.|
Your WP-content directory might also include a /mu-plugins directory. Must-use (mu) plugins are plugins that are automatically enabled in WordPress. Any plugins that exist in this folder will be executed just like a standard activated plugin. The major difference is mu-plugins cannot exist in a subdirectory or they will be ignored.
Themes are stored in the wp-content/themes directory. Each theme must exist in its own subdirectory and must consist of the proper template files for WordPress to recognize it as a usable theme. At a minimum, an index.php and a style.css file must exist in the theme directory, along with proper tagging to display under the Appearance ➪ Themes SubPanel on your admin dashboard.
WordPress will store as several themes during this directory as your server permits. you’ll be able to simply read a preview of any theme, or activate a brand new theme, beneath the looks ➪ Themes SubPanel.
Uploads and Media Directory
WordPress stores uploaded media within the wp-content/uploads folder. This directory does not exist in a default installation of WordPress. The /uploads directory is created the first time you successfully upload a file to WordPress. By default WordPress stores uploads in month- and year- based folders. So your uploaded image would be stored like so:
Before you can upload any images or files in WordPress, you need to set the /wp-content directory to be writable. When you upload your first image, WordPress auto-creates the /uploads directory and any needed subdirectories. After you have got with success uploaded your initial image, reset the /wp-content permissions to not be writable. Currently, there are no thanks to import pictures uploaded via FTP into the WordPress Media Library. If creating the uploads directory write-able isn’t associate choice, there ar plugins obtainable (such as NextGen Gallery, delineated well within the Custom Directories section that follows) that embody this practicality.
The wp-content/upgrade directory is mechanically created by WordPress after you use the automated update method. This folder is used by WordPress to store the new version of WordPress that is downloaded from WordPress.org. The compressed WordPress download is extracted in this folder prior to the update. This folder should remain untouched for automatic updates to process successfully. If this directory is deleted, WordPress re-creates it consecutive time you run the auto-updater.
Some plugins that require a lot of custom files will store those files in a directory in your wp-content folders.
The Super Cache plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/) creates a / wp-content/cache directory to store all of the cached pages created for your website. A cached page is simply a fully generated page on your website saved as a static HTML file. Instead of generating the page each time a user clicks one of your links, the cache plugin serves up the static HTML file to the visitor. This dramatically decreases WordPress load times and increases performance because pages aren’t generated in each view, but rather only when the cache is regenerated based on your settings.
The Super Cache plugin also adds two files to your wp-content directory: advanced-cache.php and wp-cache-config.php. These two files are required for Super Cache to function correctly. When Super Cache is activated, it tries to create these two files. If it fails, a notice appears alerting you of this. The files exist in the Super Cache plugin directory and can be manually moved to the wp-content directory.
